Lichfield is well connected, with Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley stations offering Cross-City line services to Birmingham in around 40 minutes and West Coast Main Line connections to London and the north. The A38 and A5 pass close by, with the M6 Toll and M42 within easy reach, making the city a popular commuter base for Birmingham. Its neighbourhoods include Boley Park, Streethay, Curborough, Leomansley and Christian Fields, with Burntwood, Armitage, Shenstone, Whittington and Fradley among the surrounding villages.
