Ceiling tiles, partitions and panels, correctly wrapped and labelled for disposal.

How it works

2. Licensed collection

Waste is double-wrapped in labelled sheeting and collected by a licensed carrier — never broken up or dry-swept.

3. Disposal & consignment note

Disposed of at a permitted facility, with a hazardous waste consignment note issued for your records.

Compliance: Asbestos work is governed by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Non-licensed bonded materials can be collected and disposed of compliantly; friable or notifiable work must be carried out by a licensed contractor, which we can arrange. Never put asbestos in a general skip, and never break, drill or sweep it.

Common questions

Can I put asbestos in a skip?

No. Asbestos is banned from general skips and must be kept separate, wrapped and disposed of at a licensed facility. We arrange a compliant collection instead.

Do you remove asbestos or just collect it?

We arrange licensed collection and disposal of bonded asbestos waste. For higher-risk friable asbestos or notifiable removal work, we arrange a licensed removal contractor.

Will I get a consignment note?

Yes. Asbestos moves as hazardous waste under a consignment note, and you receive documentation confirming safe, legal disposal.

How should asbestos be prepared for collection?

It should be kept intact, dampened if advised, and double-wrapped in labelled polythene sheeting. Tell us what you have and we will advise before collection.
